I grew up in a small Norfolk village, and was one of the last generations (at least I assume so) that went to a true village school. A school so small it had three classrooms and I would guess less than 30 pupils when it was shut when I was 10. I got moved to a bigger school in a neighbouring village. After I left, the school buildings remained…and have just been sold again. I took the opportunity to visit - these are the photos (and some memories).

This one (like all my "Recent" posts) has been a long time coming. Paige is a brilliant ceramic artist working in Norwich, who was kind enough to let me make some images of her in the studio. These images are part of a long-running (but not very active) project making pictures of people making things...as seen in the prior Companion Denim post.
