Long have I searched for the perfect instant camera (as you’d know if you’d read this post), and I suspect I shall long continue the search. Actually, to be fair the Mint SLR 670-S is really the perfect instant camera…if only the film wasn’t so damn expensive.
So, being a creature of today’s consumerist world, I bought an Instax Mini LiPlay. The name is stupid, but actually the camera is pretty decent. First up, it has a glass lens, and although it’s one of those stupid hybrid things you can still shoot and print straight-away so it almost becomes a “Normal” instant camera. All of the shots here were made with the camera, and I leave them without comment so you can judge for yourself. A few were cropped using the in-camera function. I have also tried this as a printer…but you’ll have to wait to see the results of that experiment.
